Meet roy a. miller

After leaving High School from Louisville, MS in 1974, Roy started in the Telecommunications and Technology Industries. The journey began at Louisiana Electronics and Drafting Technical College with a strong focus in getting the Federal Communication Commission License Certification. This was due to the Vision of his parents seeing the future opportunities in communications technology. What a great vision this was as Roy completed schooling and graduated at the top of his class receiving his Associates Degree, 3rd and 2 nd Class FCC licenses. Roy received several certifications over the years including Computer Fundamentals from the University of New Orleans, A-Plus Certified Technician from CompTIA and Microsoft Web Design, Server and Desktop Certifications.Roy was blessed in the Telecommunications Industry for (42) years including two years in school. He was the first African American promoted into Technical Management at Radiofone, Inc out of New Orleans, LA. He was directly instrumental in developing one of the largest digital two-way paging networks in the Country while at Radiofone. 

As Project Manager, Roy was directly instrumental in the initial new site build-out for major Cellular Carriers such as T-Mobile’s (New Orleans) and Verizon’s (Jackson, MS) build-out. While at Verizon, Roy was the leader on the site recovery and site hardening initiative after hurricanes Katrina and Rita for the Gulf Coast for Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida (Pan Handle). Also, while at Verizon, Roy received National recognition and local MVP awards for his efforts with new network build-out, site recovery and site hardening projects. For (11) years, Roy was a Project Manager for Crown Castle, the largest (RIT) Real Estate Investment Trust and tower owner in the United States. For the first five years with Crown, he managed all Carrier site upgrades for the State of Louisiana with the last six years managing all the AT&T upgrade initiatives. Roy accounted for over $100,000,000 in service revenue for Crown during his employment. On 3/29/2019, he retired from Crown with multiple honors and corporate recognitions.

Retirement for Roy does not mean sitting down as the journey continues as Business Owner and Director of Operations of 3H4P Management, LLC which delivers multiple services to the Community including Technology, Project Management and Financial Literacy education and services. The next chapter is being logged in the faithful services of Roy Anthony Miller.

Roy has been happily married to Charmaine H. Miller for (41) years as of May 15, 2023. They have two grown children, (one deceased) and six grandchildren. Roy and Charmaine have servant hearts that believe in empowering others to achieve their goals and dreams.

Roy is ordained and has served the Creator for over (32) years as Deacon, Minister, Treasurer, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Director and Men’s Ministry Director. His current resolve is being a committed teacher and mentor of Community Empowerment concepts. His mission is to be a Servant Leader and student of true history so he can educate and liberate the minds in his Family and Community. His mission is based on four disciplines: Spiritual Maturity, Emotional Stability, Physical Wellness and Financial Freedom Roy currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Parents of Public Schools of Jackson, Inc. DBA Ask for More Jackson since March 2020. The Nonprofit organization’s mission is to engage communities to advocate for and affect change in public education. The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of persons in the support of Jackson, MS Public School District; to function throughout the City for the betterment of Jackson Public Schools and for all parents and children in the Jackson Community.

Meet roy a. miller

Roy graduated from Louisville High School (Mississippi) in 1974 and started in the Telecommunications and Technology Industries. Graduating top of his class from Louisiana Electronics and Drafting Technical College and also received his 2nd and 3rd FCC License. He received several certifications over the years including Computer Fundamentals from the University of New Orleans, A-Plus Certified Technician from CompTIA also Microsoft Server and Desktop Certifications. He had a major role as Project Manager in the Cellular build-out for T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T in Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida. Roy retired on 3/29/2019 after a very successful career with several Corporate honors from Crown Castle, Inc., the largest communication tower owner in the Country. Over his Project Management career, he managed over $100 million dollars in service revenue.

His journey continues as Business Owner of 3H4P Management, LLC which delivers multiple services to the Community including Technology, Project Management, Real Estate Investing and Empowerment Consulting. Roy is an Ordained Deacon, Minister, Certified Mentor and Teacher of Community Empowerment Concepts. Most recent, he serves as President of the Board of Directors of Ask for More Jackson, formally Parents for Public Schools, Inc. Ask for More Jackson’s mission is to engage communities to advocate for and affect change in public education. The purpose is to support the Jackson, MS Public School Districts for the betterment of all schools, parents and children in the Jackson Communities. Other community services include being a member of the 100 Black Men of Jackson, MS Inc. with the mission being “To improve the quality of life in Jackson and surrounding communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans”.
